Aggitis River Cave
The Aggitis River Cave is located in the Municipality of Prosotsani, 25 km northeast of the city of Drama. It attracts thousands of visitors every year and has been open to the public since the summer of 2000, featuring a 500-metre visitor route, while more than 12.5 kilometres of the cave have already been explored and mapped. It is the largest karst conduit in Greece and one of the largest river caves in Europe.
Visitors can admire the unique scenery created by the combination of the underground river, the impressive stalactite formations, the remarkable “Waterwheel Chamber”, and the beautiful natural landscape rich in vegetation that surrounds the cave.

10:30 – 17:00 (daily, including Sundays and public holidays)
Admission Fees:
Standard: €7 for adults
Reduced: €4 for children (7–18 years old), students, unemployed visitors, large families, and other eligible categories.
Group Rate: €5 per person for organized groups of more than 25 people.
Special discounted rates are available for school trips, educational institutions, and similar organized groups.
